COK Launches Hard-Boiled Truth Ad Campaign

The Hidden Cost of Eggs

This fall, COK’s newest ad campaign—“Hard-Boiled Truth”—hits magazine stands nationwide, exposing millions of readers to the cruelties of battery cage egg production and directing them to our website HardBoiledTruth.com. Our first ad in the series, “The Hidden Cost of Eggs,” is now premiering in Bust and Ms. magazines.

Action Alert: Protect Your Rights to Speak Out for Animals

Last month, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA), a bill that will severely increase the penalties for some common types of legitimate social advocacy. The bill’s language is vague, making it difficult to determine how broad its reach may be. This bill will be voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives in early November.

You can help defeat the AETA by contacting your Representatives today! Please urge them to vote no on H.R. 4239.

More details about this bill are available from the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
